AOD Peer Work Foundation Training (Online) Day One

Date: Wednesday 8th April 2026
Time: 9:30am to 4:30pm

This online training is designed for people with lived and living experience who want to build strong foundations in AOD peer work. The training supports you to develop practical peer work skills while learning how to share your story with confidence, care, and impact.

Day one focuses on Peer Work Foundations, where you will learn about:

• The history, values, and principles of peer work

• Communication and active listening skills

• Working effectively within organisations

*Workbook provided and facilitated by two experienced NUAA trainers. .

Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: 25 dollars registration (Fee waived for community members not completing training through work)
