Volunteer
Do you have some free time and want to give back to your community? Do you support NUAA’s work and want to be part of the team? Why not join our team of peers!
Our peer-led programs are for people with lived experience of illicit drug use who would like to contribute their knowledge and learn new skills by volunteering their spare time to NUAA. If this sounds like you, get in touch! More information on our volunteer and training programs can be found here.
Alternatively, please phone NUAA on (02) 9171 6650.
You can also apply to volunteer for DanceWize NSW, our peer-based program, to provide support and reduce harm at festivals. DanceWize NSW volunteers help run DanceWize NSW’s care space, providing partygoers with up-to-date harm reduction information and roving around the event, assisting and directing partygoers. You can find out more information about what’s involved and fill out the volunteering application form here.
