Our Peer Connect Program is an intensive 2-day workshop for those wishing to enter the peer workforce, either as volunteers or paid employees. The program aims to establish peers within NSPs and other settings, and provides people with practical tools and strategies for establishing peer connections, building trust and developing partnerships that are vital to supporting the health and life journey of people who use and inject drugs.

Wear It Purple Day 2022

Wear It Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. Wear It Purple was founded in 2010 in response to global stories of real teenagers, real heartache and their very real responses. In 2010, several rainbow young people took their own lives following bullying and harassment resulting from the lack of acceptance of their sexuality or gender identity.

World Hepatitis Day, held on 28 July, is an international annual day observed by the United Nations and one of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) seven officially mandated global public health days.

World Hepatitis Day is an opportunity to step up national and international efforts on hepatitis, encourage actions and engagement by individuals, partners and the public and highlight the need for a greater global response as outlined in the WHO's Global hepatitis report of 2017.

International Non-Binary People's Day 2022

14 July is International Non-Binary Peoples Day! We celebrate those who are non-binary, the rich diversity of gender and celebrate people who do not fit into a binary gender.

In really simple terms, a non-binary person is someone who does not identify as exclusively a man or a woman. Someone who is non-binary might feel like a mix of genders, or like they have no gender at all.

Using correct pronouns is important. Many non-binary people prefer the pronouns they/them/their.
