AOD Peer Work Foundation Training (F2F Day 1)

This F2F training is designed for people with lived and living experience who want to build strong foundations in AOD peer work. The training supports you to develop practical peer work skills while learning how to share your story with confidence, care, and impact.

Day one focuses on Peer Work Foundations, where you will learn about:

  • The history, values, and principles of peer work

  • Communication and active listening skills

  • Working effectively within organisations

*Workbook and snacks provided. Facilitated by two experienced NUAA trainers.

Location: NUAA Office, Broadway
Cost: 25 dollars registration (One time fee and waived for community members not completing training through work)

Please note that lived and living experience of alcohol and other drugs is an essential requirement for attendance at this training. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to email our team directly.
