NUAA’s Needle and Syringe Program (NSP), located at 345 Crown St, Surry Hills, is open every weekday to access new injecting equipment or drop off used equipment. We are open from 8am to 8pm each day (no breaks!). There is a machine outside the front to help you access equipment outside of these hours. The machine costs $3.00 and supplies 3x1ml Syringes, water, cotton, spoon, and swabs.
NUAA’s NSP supplies a wide range of injecting equipment not regularly supplied at most NSP’s. Click here to see what we have on offer, or can the NSP direct on (02) 8354 7343 or free call 1800 644 413. You can also check out NSW Health’s full list of NSP’s in the state.
The NSP is also now home to a Open Clinic on Crown, a nurse-led primary health care clinic that is a collaboration of NUAA and the Kirketon Road Centre. It runs Monday to Friday 11;30am-3:30pm as a contribution to providing affordable, accessible and equitable health care to all parts of our community.
